On October 30, within the topic “lightweight concrete” of the Department of Materials Engineering and Physics of the FCE STU, my colleague Peter Lešak presented to the 5th-year students the application of hemcrete/hemplime – the technology that is probably the most environmentally friendly, and Dušan Knezovič previously depicted the entire value chain of hemp. At the same time, one student chose as the subject of his thesis, testing the properties of the compostable shive panel and comparing it with other used building panels.
