On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the 1st annual “Hemp & Flax–Linen” festival took place at the Farmers’ Cooperative in Cífer. Visitors could learn about the cultivation and many uses of hemp and flax, as well as the plans of Slovak and Czech hemp growers, in a series of thematic lectures and panel discussions. These took place simultaneously on two stages and in addition to a number of stands, it was possible to discuss with producers, or look around and purchase hemp products and refreshments.
