In cooperation with the Institute of Knowledge-Based Agriculture and Innovation, we conducted a training course entitled “Hemp: cultivation, processing, use – challenges and opportunities” together with our colleague Ms. Bjelková from Agritec Plant Research. In the context of growing interest in sustainable agriculture, renewable raw materials, and diversification of economic activities in rural areas, 43 participants had the opportunity to learn about hemp as a promising crop with a wide range of uses, which, thanks to modern technologies, is becoming a plant of the past, a plant of the future with thousands of products. The seminar contributed not only to the understanding of agrotechnology and processing, but also to trends in organic farming and the circular economy.
