The international conference organized by the HempClub consortium within the Horizon EU project was dedicated to hemp materials and their potential to support the local bioeconomy. The opening day was filled with lectures by mainly foreign speakers – see the program and the following 2 days were devoted to “networking” and “matchmaking”. For HempCluster, we had the opportunity to meet our Czech partners from Agritec Šumperk, the Czech Hemp Institute and the CzecHemp cluster. We negotiated and found a space for cooperation with a German company DYCLE, which has developed compostable diapers, which fully corresponds with one of the cluster research topics.
