The INNOVATE REGIONS conference brought to 150 visitors ideas from regional development agencies about innovations in counties, but also many inspiring stories and completed projects. The event showed that if they want to keep up with the current developing world, it is essential that they reflect these demands on their territory as well. Even informal discussions confirmed that only an environment conducive to innovation, the search for local potentials and the support of their change leaders, will ensure socio-economic growth and convince young people to stay.
