The Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, together with the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, organized a working morning with cluster organizations on 23 November 2023, where the main topic was the support of clusters and research-development-innovation (RDI) activities of companies from EU resources under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy of the Slovak Republic. Information about the preparation of the next Call for Clusters to support the networks of enterprises to which the Hemp Cluster plans to join early next year was essential.
A very stimulating project from Austria was also presented, where the national development agency FFG, together with SMEs, universities and secondary schools, analyzed the potential of East Tyrol, identified 8 content fields and 150 solutions, of which the 3 with the greatest potential received €300,000 each for the implementation of projects . We perceive it as an inspiring approach of direct support of regional “change drivers”, also in Slovakia.
At the end of the program, there was a ceremonial handing over of certificates as part of the National Cluster Performance Assessment, where Dušan Knezovič, representing the cluster, received the original certificate at the “Advanced Cluster” level.
